The Essential Tencel Friendly Nightdress is the perfect gift you can give to yourself or to a mom-to-be you know. Style and comfort in one! Good for the planet and for you. The nightdress is made from a certified TENCEL™ fabric and is super soft and gentle to the skin, but also breathable, biodegradable and moisture absorbing. Ideal for a good night sleep or to wear around the house in the early weeks after you have your baby.

It’s designed with comfort in mind – both at home or during a hospital stay. Over the knee length gives you a bit of extra coverage and a specially designed neckline allows for the fabric to be pulled down if you wish to breastfeed. The nightdress is looser at the top allowing for plenty of movement and gently hugging at the hips, running a bit wider to the bottom so you can walk or jump if you wish.

This item can be worn before, during and after your pregnancy. The fabric has a bit of stretch to allow for a growing bump. It will go perfectly with our Essential Bamboo Dressing Gown if you wish to create a perfect setting for yourself or a loved one.

Motherhood doesn’t need to be perfect, but your nightwear set can be easily just that.

Sustainable Fabrics	Lyocell/ TENCEL™ – one of the most environmentally friendly fabrics. Our NUIT Essentials – Nightdress is made out of certified Tencel. TENCEL™ is a brand name. Lenzing Tencel, (produced by an Austrian company Lenzing) is made from eucalyptus wood that is harvested from natural forests and sustainably managed tree farms. Eucalyptus trees are fast-growing and require no toxic pesticides and very little water to thrive. Lenzing is very committed to the ethical sourcing of their wood and fabrics comes with forest certification for their pulp production. Although chemicals are being used, they are not environmentally sensitive and they do not end up in nature due to Lenzing's innovative closed-loop production process. This means that more than 99% of the solvents used within the process are recycled and continuously reused which makes the Lenzing fibre production eco-friendly. As a textile, Tencel feels amazing. It is as soft as silk and as strong as polyester, with antibacterial properties and a cooling effect on your skin. Compared to other fabrics it has the highest rates of absorption of moisture.
